Jeff Bingham is the president of B&H Wealth Strategies, creator of the Tactical Multi- Asset Portfolio, author of “Living and Aging Well – Your Game Plan for Lifelong Health & Wealth Planning”, member of The Retirement Project, and a partner in the 7Twelve portfolio design.
Jeff joined his Dad’s firm in 1989 and is now the sole owner of B&H Wealth Strategies. His father, Bob Bingham, played a significant role in his life, as he was his business partner, best friend and closest confidant until he passed away in August of 2010.
Jeff has presented numerous seminars on retirement issues in the region, has been involved in weekly radio shows, and is a guest columnist for the Kingsport Times News.
He has recently created a presentation entitled “Doing What You Love” for financial professionals that illustrates the relationship and importance of integrating health and wealth planning for his clients.
Jeff has a busy life of running his financial business, keeping up to date with all the financial news, along with following a routine of working out daily and living a healthy lifestyle.
It’s evident that Jeff has a passion for connecting with others and is eager to pass along what he has learned about creating wealth and maintaining health to the clients who come into his office.
Sherry is an ETSU graduate and worked for nine years as a claims adjuster for Scholastic Insurers, Inc. in Johnson City. Prior to coming to B & H Wealth Strategies in 2001, she was the Office Assistant/Bookkeeper at Colonial Heights Presbyterian Day School. Sherry and her husband Bob Bingham, Jr. have two sons, both UT graduates. Rhett and his wife, Laura, live & work in Atlanta. Laura is a UGA grad and a proud bulldog, so they have adapted to red and orange together! Devin, lives in Minneapolis where he is employed and also in graduate school at the University of Minnesota. Last, but definitely not least, there is Ava, our beloved animal shelter rescue dog! Her husband is a history teacher and the Head Track & Cross Country Coach at Dobyns-Bennett High School. In her spare time she enjoys boating and photography.
Matt Bingham grew up in Kingsport and has lived here for most of his life. After completing his degree in History at Austin Peay University in Clarksville, Tennessee with a minor in communications, Matt returned to Kingsport to work for Hawkins, Bingham, & Miller where he took videos of depositions and witness testimony, edited video, did research, created presentations for mediation and trial, and provided IT services for the past 17 years. He continues to do freelance legal videography. Matt also moonlights as a singer/songwriter and has written a jingle for us here at B&H Wealth Strategies! Jake is the grandson of co-founder, Robert L. Bingham, and the son of current B&H President, Jeff Bingham, making him the 3rd generation and future of B&H Wealth Strategies.
Jake has been involved with the firm since his college days at UT Chattanooga. Like the classic American story, he started in the mailroom and assisted in the marketing department, as well as sitting in on client meetings with Jeff.
While attending UT Chattanooga, Jake worked in the restaurant and catering business. The cornerstone of the firm’s doctrine is “where superior service meets hospitality,” and here Jake found a fertile training ground for the 4 Seasons Experience. After finishing up at UTC and taking some time to explore his options, Jake began his career with B&H during covid, when he helped the firm develop remote access technologies.
Since then, Jake has grown at B&H, where he is currently involved in multiple roles-- as Junior Wealth Advisor and as C.O.O., where he and our tech consultant Jason Kocienski have developed a tool to revolutionize how we can run and track our business to enhance our clients’ experience in line with the 4 Seasons ethos.
While Jake is not consuming all things B&H, he has other interests, including reading books (ranging from The Lord of the Rings to Someday This Could All Be Yours to the Bible). Like all Binghams, he is also an avid sports fan, especially of the Vols. Jake is well-versed in a variety of topics and has curiosity to learn and acquire wisdom. Jennifer’s path to B&H Wealth Strategies has been two years in the making and guided by her faith in God. Jennifer is married to her wonderful husband, Jason, and they have five grown daughters and nine cherished grandchildren! Her precious grandbabies are the stars of her crown! Originally from Chucky, Tennessee, Jennifer enjoys her daily commute by listening to old gospel hymns and spending time in prayer. She seeks to serve her Lord, her family, colleagues, and clients with love and wisdom. Outside of work she enjoys reading the news, online shopping, and horseback riding. She says the B&H family has been a true blessing in her life!
